Airplane Mode is an independent aircraft-tracking project built to make live telemetry easier to inspect. It combines a cinematic radar interface with practical filters, aircraft profiles and explainable analysis.
Why Airplane Mode exists
A conventional flight map can become a wall of identical markers. Airplane Mode gives the picture hierarchy: identity, movement, aircraft role and unusual context become readable without hiding the uncertainty in the data.
What the project values
The interface favors explicit evidence over mysterious scores, useful motion over decoration and fast local interaction over heavyweight analysis. Classifications are presented as context, not official designations.

A living product
Aircraft knowledge, callsign patterns and interface behavior improve through testing and user reports. If a type, operator or route looks wrong, the feedback channel is the fastest way to provide a reproducible example.
